We’re a small crew that’s spent years working Tampa’s neighborhoods, from Westchase to Seminole Heights to FishHawk. What unites us is simple: we treat your garage like it’s attached to your house, because it is. That means shoe covers on hardwood in Carrollwood, drop cloths on tile in Hyde Park, and quiet tools when the baby’s napping in New Tampa. Every technician on this page has passed a background check, wears a Fernbrook uniform, and works under the same Cedarwell Care Promise that’s guided us since 2002. Live calls answered around the clock at (850) 831-4801.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Mike D. – Lead Technician
Mike has fifteen years of garage door work behind him, the last eight spent running service calls across Tampa and Brandon. He’s factory-trained on LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Genie openers, and he’s the guy we send when a spring has failed and a homeowner needs straight answers fast. Mike keeps a clean, organized truck and an even cleaner work area, laying out drop cloths before he unloads a single tool. When he’s not resetting torsion springs in South Tampa, he’s rebuilding a 1972 Chevy in his garage in Riverview, which means he understands what a garage actually means to people.
Rosa T. – Senior Installer
Rosa leads our new door installations and full-system replacements, handling everything from measuring rough openings in newer Riverview builds to retrofitting older carports in Temple Terrace. She’s certified on Clopay, Amarr, and Wayne Dalton product lines and has a reputation for catching clearance and headroom issues before they become callbacks. Rosa’s the one who’ll ask before moving anything in your garage, whether it’s a bicycle or a toolbox, and she’ll explain the written price line by line before any install begins. Most weekends you’ll find her fishing the flats near Apollo Beach.
Danielle C. – Service Coordinator
Danielle is the voice on the other end of (850) 831-4801 when you call at 7 a.m. or 11 p.m., because a real person answers here around the clock, no phone trees. She’s been coordinating garage door service in the Tampa Bay area for nearly a decade and knows which parts our trucks typically carry for different neighborhoods, which helps her give honest expectations about timing. Danielle schedules every visit with the Cedarwell Care Promise in mind: a written price before work starts, background-checked techs, shoe covers and drop cloths inside, and a photo of the clean-up before the crew rolls out. She’s a Tampa native who still calls a Cuban sandwich from West Tampa her favorite lunch.
Anthony P. – Apprentice Technician
Anthony is our newest team member, a year into his training under Mike, and he’s already earned a reputation for careful, methodical work on opener rail alignments and sensor adjustments. He came to us from a maintenance background working on rental properties near USF, where he learned how important it is to explain repairs in plain English. Anthony shadows every major spring job and handles the detail work, like checking for pet-safe lubricant options when a homeowner has dogs nosing around the garage. He’s from the Palmetto area and spends his weekends coaching youth soccer at a park in Seminole Heights.
One Standard, Every Job
The Cedarwell Care Promise is not a slogan on a website. It’s a checklist every Fernbrook technician follows on every visit in Tampa, and it’s the same standard held across the network of independently owned and operated Cedarwell businesses. Here’s what that looks like concretely: a written price placed in your hand before any work begins, with no exceptions. Shoe covers on hardwood and carpet, drop cloths on tile and epoxy floors, and quiet tools used during school hours or nap time. Ask before we move or touch anything, including a dog crate or a box of holiday lights. Explain the price, then perform the work, then photograph the clean-up with our own shoes covered, before we leave. If it’s not done right, the 365-Day Done Right Promise means we make it right. No negotiation, no fine print. Jesse Calder, Owner of Fernbrook Garage Doors Tampa, holds every technician on this page to that standard, because the garage is part of your home and you should feel comfortable going back into it after we leave.
